I remember fondly the day I was introduced to Scribe winery. While helping a Napa winery pour their selections at a wine tasting at Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco, I noticed quickly and consistently swarms of tasters crowding the table next to ours. ‘Who’s that?’ I asked. ‘Scribe.’ My colleague replied ‘They’re crushing it all over the Bay Area.’ A year later I was visiting the property, and learning what all the buzz was about. The wines show remarkable focus and a soft hand. Even Weston commented at the uniqueness and restraint of their estate Riesling, amongst its new world peers. I’m flattered to be able to introduce these wines to the Minnesota market.
